PET OF THE MONTH- JANUARY 2022

Meet CJ, this lovely boy came in to see Dr Raj after he got into a little scrap with his sister. Poor CJ came off second best to his sister & ended up with a pretty trauma to his eye. He went home with some medications on the hope that we would see some improvement over the next couple days, unfortunately it only got worse & in the end the decision was made to remove his eye altogether to prevent any further pain/discomfort for him.

CJ underwent surgery to remove his eyeball and to close up the orbit cavity, he was very brave and strong during the anaesthetic and his recovery. He has been in for his final check and is fully recovered and back to his normal self.

We would like to thank his owners for doing everything that CJ needed to get better, he is a very lucky boy!
